Max input torque of Rudder Propeller depends on the capacity of its transmit power of prime mover the kind of Rudder Propeller operation, the type of prime mover or the sort of vessel may influence the actual allowable input torque figure. Please consult with our technical staff before selecting the definite Rudder Propeller, the output torque Mp of the prime mover (general diesel engine, hydraulic of electric motor) is the most important factor and is calculated as follow:

Each type of Rudder Propeller has a specific allowable design torque, according to incorporating the normal engineering safety factors. Because ofour many years experiences, we consider that this design torque cannot be the gist in the selection procedure.
